Kirk Seamus Minihane (born October 31, 1974) is an American podcaster, radio and television personality, newspaper columnist, screenwriter, editor, and novelist. He is best known as the host of The Kirk Minihane Show on Barstool Sports,[1][2] Based out of Boston, Massachusetts, Minihane attended Winchester High School in 1993 and graduated from Fordham University with a Degree in American Literature.[3]
After working briefly as a columnist for the Lowell Sun[4] Minihane rose to prominence as a talk radio personality on Entercom's New England sports station WEEI-FM as co-host of the Dennis and Callahan Show.[5] Following the departure of John Dennis, Minihane became the leading voice of the new show, Kirk and Callahan, propelling the controversial morning drive program to the top of the ratings in the Boston metropolitan area.[6][7][8]
